Lightning + John Howard Society
LONDON, ON – Heading into their third season of sponsoring the London Lightning, local tech company Northern Commerce is ramping things up with a focus on the community.
To start the season Northern has donated 70 tickets to the John Howard Society for the London Lightning Exhibition Game on December 18th.
“This sponsorship allows us to give back to our London community, something we’re proud to do. This year we’re looking forward to working with many great local organizations – like the John Howard Society”, says Michael DeLorenzi, President and CEO of Northern.
The John Howard Society is a non-profit organization and registered charity that assists families who have been conflicted with the law. Using the tickets donated by Northern, the John Howard Society Children’s Group will be giving children and their caregivers the opportunity to attend the London Lightning game.
“Sports are an outlet for these children and being able to see it at the professional level is an experience that they will not forget” says Stephanie Alegria, Group Facilitator at the John Howard Society.
While this is just the beginning of the season, Northern is busy planning new ways for the London community to get involved with the Lightning in 2017.
