Holiday Gift Drive

We're making the holidays brighter for 100 families who live in the London and Middlesex Housing Community.

The holidays can be a difficult time of year and some families will find this holiday season especially hard due to the impact of COVID-19.

Recognizing this, Northern Commerce and London’s notable hip-hop artist and Fanshawe graduate Left Lane (Jordan Lindo) have teamed up to make the holidays a bit brighter for local families in need.

Together, Northern and Left Lane have partnered to raise $10,000 to spread joy to 100 local families. Sharing strong ties to their community, both Left Lane and Northern are delivering toys and holiday cheer to residents of London and Middlesex Community Housing neighbourhoods. Roots has also contributed 50 pairs of socks for some of the local families.

About the Gift Drive

A GoFundMe page has been set up where the community can donate to achieve the goal of $10,000—and Northern has generously donated $5,000 to kick things off. All funds raised will go towards gifts for local families residing in Limberlost, Boulee, Pond Mills, and Allen Rush Housing Communities.

Monetary donations will be accepted until Sunday, December 13, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. ET and all gifts will be delivered to the selected families on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Community members can also nominate a family in need of a special delivery this holiday season.
