As a Facebook Marketing Partner, we were able to leverage the power of the server-side Facebook pixel to optimize Royal Distributing’s data collection and analysis to drive incredible paid media results.
The Client
For over 25 years, Royal Distributing has been a retail leader in the Canadian power sports industry carrying the best brand-name products for snowmobiles, ATVs, Watersports and everything in between. With over 30,000 products in their catalog, their online presence is growing to keep up with demand.
The Challenge
Royal Distributing’s primary online presence was driven through its retail and catalog offering, but it knew that to grow online it needed to reach its customers more effectively. Through analysis of available data, Royal Distributing learned that more and more of their customers were shopping on mobile devices and they needed to adapt.
The Strategy
In 2019, Royal Distributing partnered with Northern Commerce to develop its digital ad strategy and implement a new mobile-optimized shopping experience. Northern Commerce built a new user- and mobile-friendly experience using Magento 2. Next, Facebook’s server-side pixel was implemented to maximize both the measurement and optimization of the retailer’s pixel events. This enabled Royal Distributing to track the ROI of their ad campaigns and the online behaviour of their customers better than ever before.
Royal Distributing leveraged the signals gathered from the server-side pixel combined with a data-rich product feed to create dynamic ads. This allowed them to efficiently reach customers using Facebook’s automation, serving new and existing customers with highly relevant ads that drove significant sales.
